It is a South Korean Mystery melodrama TV series. It is based on the noel of the same name by Kim Ryeo- ryeong. Written by Park Eun-young. Directed by Kim Kyu-tae. It stars Seo Hyun -jin & Gong Yoo.
The series depicts two people under one year marriage contract & a mysterious trunk.

Despite living with a contract husband every year, Noh In-ji , an employee at NM ( New Marriage ) finds herself deeply alone. Meanwhile , Han Jeong -won enters this contract marriage in an ironic attempt to save his previous marriage. Their lives are turned upside down when a mysterious trunk discovered in a lake sends them into a whirlwind of events involving the matchmaking service.

Gong Yoo appearing on screen after ‘The Silent Sea’ 2021 looks older, leaner & very serious. His wife calling him ‘a shell of a man’ & lusting after a younger man, is new. He doesn’t want to get married in real life but his reel life wife rejecting him is a strict no no.
The mystery gets murkier with every episode. Some over the top scenes are to be endured. Maybe I love soft, mushy rom coms which are more Korean than the thrillers!!!
