The film revolves around a widowed writer who begins a relationship with a young actor for whom her daughter works.
It was released on June 28, 2024 on Netflix.
Filming took place in Atlanta in 2022. It was slated to e released in Nov, but got postponed due to the strike.
Rotten Tomatoes has given it a 4.8/10. Despite the leads it squabbles with it’s own tonality too much to elevate its litany of clichés. In Digital Spy, Mireia points out the film ‘is not as fun as the premise promises, and no amount of star power can fix it’ The screen=stealer of the film , is Kathy Bates’ Leila, Brooke’s mother -in -law & Zara’s grandmother due to her warm performance.
In it;s fifth week the film secured the #7 spot, securing steady viewership.
