It iss a South Korean comedy drama TV series. Written by Choi Bo-rim. Directed by Jo Woong. It stars Kim So -yeon, Yeon Woo-jin, Kim Sung -ryung, Kim Sun young & Lee Se -hee.
The series is a remake of the 2016 British TV series ‘Brief Encounters’ by Oriane Messina & Fay Rusling. Set in 1990s, it tells the story of women who make door-to door sales about adult products.
A Virtuous Business follows the independence, growth & friendship of the four Bangpan Sisters who jump into door-to-door sales of adult products in a rural village in 1992, a time when sex was still a taboo.
Appearance of Ra Mi ran as Kim Mi-ran was a surprise. Heavy makeup & airs which she never exhibits. As the CEO she was excellent. Rest of the rural setting reminds of her latest outing, ‘The Good, Bad Mother’. The close nit women & gossiping was also there. ‘When the Camellia Blooms’ had it. Everybody is interested in the other’s affairs!
Averaging at 5.377 % Nationwide & 5.391 % in Seoul. But the final episode on 17 November , 2024 had the highest numbers. 8.580 % Nationwide & 9.077 % in Seoul. Interesting.
‘Behind Your Touch’ had an inspector coming down from Seoul. Yeon Woo -jin as Kim Do -hyun is a misfit here, in the village. Why is he posted here, we don’t know yet!
