It is a Chinese TV series . Also known as ‘In the Middle of a Blizzard During the Snowstorm’. Directed by Huang Tianren, Yu Bo. It is based on a novel with the same title by Mo Bao Fei Bao. It stars Leo Wu, Zhao Jinmai.
A professional Snooker player Lin Yiyang & a famous Nine-ball athlete Yin Guo met on a rare snowstorm night. With the help of Yin Guo ‘s cousin, the two get along with each other. Yin also learns about Yiyang’s past.
He was once a sensational snooker genius. One day during a game, young & arrogant Lin Yiyang refused to accept the referee’s decision & directly announced his retirement.
The appearance of Yin Guo changes Yiyang ‘s life, making him pursue her hard & regain his original dream, returning back to the professional billiards arena.
All of 30 episodes, I have yet to finish it. But it is addictive. As you move from one episode to other, you glide & know very little about our characters, yet wait for them to interact.
Leo Wu is tall, slim & intense. Handsome yes, but very focused. If she feels he is staring, we do too. He is in front of the camera from age 3 & it shows. He is extremely comfortable.
Zhao Jinmai from ‘A Little thing called First Love’ 2019 is superb. Of course, Lai Kuan -lin is a phenomenon. With her curly locks, she attracts attention. I loved that drama. So, was quick to recognize her.
She looks better with straight hair & more accomplished. The role is just perfect.
The story is good & the leads are very good. It is worth our time.
