Her daughter attends a prestigious university & her son has been accepted to a prestigious high school as well.. She is respected by other moms. She charges high consulting fees for providing other moms with study planning on college entrance preparation.
One day. she commits a murder accidentally. Her son, Seon woo finds her with blood all over her body. He steps in to hide his mom’s crime.

Kwak Dong Yeon as her son. He starts thinking of ways to protect his mom. Studying should be the priority of a student but he is constantly thinking of getting her shoe which was lost at the crime scene.
Choi Joon Yong as Jun’s father. He is fascinated by Seon Woo’s mom. Thinking money can woo anybody, he is constantly making advances.
Kim Kyu Chul is the owner of shoe repair shop. He takes the blame & goes to jail. Imploring her to take care of his daughter’s education. He is happy to be imprisoned all his life, but his daughter’s future should be bright.
Ban Min Jung as Director Gong , Jun’s mother. She is aware of her husband’s misbehavior. Again she thinks money can right every wrong.
Go Bo Gyeol as the poor student. he is also in ‘Forgotten Season’.
The mother goes through living hell. The title is appropriate. The father’s love for his daughter was like in ‘The Unwelcome Guest’. He being a detective framed an innocent for his daughter.
Here, the father promised to confess & be jailed if his daughter had a chance of better education.
Aren’t we fixated on education ? Is education the only means to move forward? What about being a decent person? Does it have no value today??
