DCP Kabir Malik & his senior officer Joint CP Vikram Bakshi go to investigate a series of bomb blasts in Delhi during at the Delhi Police Raising Day. The serial blasts were comitted by Zarar, an Indian Mujahideen terrorist, who is living under a fake identity of Haider.
Vikram’s classmate Tara Shetty, ATS Chief of Gujarat collaborates with them. They track down a suspect called, Shadab & learn about his hideout through an under cover officer.
The story unfolds & is gripping. A typical Rohit Shetty action film. The characters hold it well.
Sidharth Malhotra as DCP Kabir Malik shines. From his debut with “Student of the Year’ 2012 he has not looked back.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra as Tara Shetty is excellent. She debuted with the thriller ‘Baazigar’ 1993 working along Shahrukh Khan & Kajol. She was nominated for Filmfare Award for her role.
Vivek Oberoi as Joint CP Vikram Bakshi is a natural. He is forever teasing her ‘selfish Shetty’. Both are aware of their strengths.
Mayyank Taandon as Zarar is good. His pair with Vaidehi Parshurami is new. She is known for her role in ‘Ani… Dr Kashinath Ghanekar’2018.
Isha Talwar, Shweta Tiwari, Sharad Kelker, Mukesh Rishi, Shruti Panwar , Suchitra Bandekar have small roles. They have done a nice job.
Mrinal Kulkarni as Kabir’s mother shows the right concern for him. He has lost his wife & yet to move on. She worries & also takes his tiffin to his work place , so he shouldn’t miss his meals.
Looking at familiar faces made me nostalgic.
