It is a South Korean drama. KBS drama special episode 10 of 7th season. Directed by Lee Jung -mi. Written by Kim Seung won. Starring Lee Yu-ri, Lee Ha -yool & Park Chan-hwa, Kim Ye -ryeong.
15 years ago, Yoon Da jung’s mother Kim Young hee disappeared. Her father Yoon Nam ho was arrested for her murder. He was latter released due to lack of evidence.
One day, her mother’s car is found in a reservoir with a skeleton in it. Her father is arrested again.
The two daughters have discovered that their mother is having an affair. Both of them think that the father must have killed their mother in a fit of rage. The elder daughter has blamed him for 15 years.
Later the skeleton is identified as male person. Also the mother appears & confesses. The elder daughter who has been harboring rage suddenly knows what her father was hiding.
The final scene where he gives away his daughter in marriage was a fitting closure. The story, the mystery & the tight editing all made it a wonderful experience.
Lee Yu ri as the psychologist has poured her soul into it. Earlier in ‘Another Miss Oh’, ‘Strongest Deliveryman’, ‘My Father is Strange’. In 2014, she won the Grand prize at MBC Drama based on viewers votes. She was also ranked in the top five of Gallup Korea’s ‘Actor of the Year’, climbing to second place just behind Kim Soo hyun.
In this drama, the young girls assaying their roles are identical to the adults. One marvels at the pains taken to select the artists.
Lee Ha yool as her boyfriend has a nice role. Being supportive. Bewildered at what is suddenly happening, he portrayed a confused but committed boyfriend. Earlier seen in ‘Welcome to Waikiki’.
Park Chan -Hwan as her father has all our sympathy. He is blamed for 15 years for a crime he never committed. ‘Princess Hours’ & many other dramas to his credit. Love for his wife & his family drives him to go to jail.
Kim Ye -ryeong as the mother. Earlier seen in ‘The Moon embracing the Sun’, ‘The Beauty Inside’, ‘Oh, My Baby”, ‘Casting a spell on You’, ‘Love to hate You’.
A wonderful drama.
