It is a South Korean drama. Drama special season 9. Also known as ‘My Mom’s Third Marriage’. Directed by Kim Young Jin. Screenwriter Jung Mi Hee. It stars Lee yeol Eum, Lee II Hwa, kim Young Ok,Jun Joon Suk, Han In Soo.
It is a story of a mom who thought she knew her daughter & her daughter who can’t understand her mother.
This one liner is about it. But with the Korean director, it blooms into a full story. The mother left her daughter with the grandmother. But the grandmother is forgiving. She did not feel that her daughter was wrong.
The daughter wants revenge but when she starts to fall for the step brother, really, she gets confused. In the future how will they deal with it, is up to you. Open ended.
Senior Lee is a gem. Very rare. He knows she is sick & wants to help her. I found a shade of ‘Contract Marriage’ where Uee chooses to marry a rich guy, another Mr Lee, so that her daughter would have a rich father. I mean, nothing wrong in planning for the future.
Everyone has his , her point of view. The first question, ‘When will you come? After how many nights?’ Her mother had no answer but now, she knows, she answers,’ After 3 nights’. Getting an honest answer is so important!
Lee Yeol Eum as the daughter has an excellent role to showcase her talent. Earlier she was in ‘Nevertheless’, also in drama special ‘Middle School Student A’.
