It is a South Korean drama. Drama special season 6. Directed by Park Jin -seok. It stars jeong Hee tae, Kim Jeong -tae, Ji Su Won.
Joo Bong’s father Sang Goo struggles to attain copyright over the animation character Bongbong. Joo Bong ‘s mother leaves the family but Joo bong believes in her promise. She had promised him that she would return before he becomes a middle school student. Joo bong decides to go to Japan to meet his mom.
He tries to earn money to support his family. His father has filed a lawsuit & taken money from the boy’s passbook. Only the younger son is unaware of the situation around him.
The animation reminded me of the anime I have seen. The pains -taking process of the illustrator. He lives in the world unaware of the reality.
The father faces the situation when he sees his son falling prey to the bad boys.
Jeong hee tae as the father’s enemy. ‘Mr Sunshine’, ‘Mystic Pop=Up Bar, ‘Navillera’, Youth Of May’, ‘Wedding Impossible’ are his shows. Kim jeong tae is the father. Earlier seen in ‘Dream High’, ‘The Last Empress’,
Ji Su-won as the mother. I haven’t seen any of her shows.
A fairy tale may have not so good end. But we find closure & that is good enough. Looking at the real Bong bong brothers, sure hurts. If their father could have made it, they would ‘ve lived happily.
This ‘if’ bothers. A lot.
