It is a 2023 Chinese drama. It is adapted from the novel Xue Xiao Ran’s Ancient Companionship Tour’ by Qian Mo.
It stars Cheng Fan & Wang Jun Hao in the leads. Modern day girl travels & meets a prince in the deep forest. They accompany each other.
He loves her cooking. When they meet the bandits, the chief wants to marry her. But he saves her & takes her away. But he keeps it a secret that he is the crown Prince. Just when the story takes interesting turns, she wakes up. She is sleeping/ dozing in the forest.
She comes back to her parents & they appreciate her cooking. Then is shown her diary with a dagger, that he had given to protect herself.
I had a sinking feeling like ‘Moon lovers’ This also needs a season 2. We haven’t yet seen them expressing their feelings!!!!
