Gu Chuan is a passion-filled , vibrant young man with his whole life ahead of him. Until his life turns upside down by a sudden traffic accident. Surgeons save him by giving him an emergency heart transplant.
He carefully avoids anything that could raise his heart rate. Things take a turn when Jiang Xiao Ning comes to work at the company , he & his friend have set up. She is an orphan but a veritable font of positivity.
That positivity starts to rub off on Gu Chuan- but could this bond ever turn romantic, in spite of his condition ?
The story is good. The 36 episodes are put to good use. It reminds of South Korean drama ‘Just between Lovers ‘ or ‘Rain & Shine’ which also has the backdrop of an accident. Both are involved in a building collapse, there.
‘See you in the 19th life’ has a car accident. Both are affected by the car crash. But the emphasis is more on different lifetimes.
I wondered why she looked familiar. She is the same actress from 2019 drama, ‘Put Your Head on My Shoulder’ I have seen more shows of the actor, Lin Yi, but this is the first for Xing Fei, again.
I had not liked the title, hesitated forever. But as the clips got interesting, I had to watch it. She believes all mis fortune befalls her. So, Ms Crow & he starts to avoid socializing. So, Mr Lizard. They like to be alone.
