After a 2 day marathon, I got it. Finished. It is gripping, tear jerking & memorable. It gets you involved & you don’t want it to end.
All the performances are perfect. Ryeoun as Ha Eun gyeol made my day. From ’18 Again’ I had wished to see him in a full length role. Here, you are. He time travels & you get a nice story.
Choi Hyun wook as Ha Yi chan couldn’t have been better. In ‘Twentyfive, twenty one’ we are focussed on Nam hyuk but here as Eun gyeol’s father he takes the center stage & how ! As the adult 46 year old , Choi won young does a marvellous job. I have watched him in many dramas but ‘Youth of May’ will be special. He takes the bearing in the final episode & turns it into a classic!
Here, taking the stage he looks every bit the rock- star he had aspired for!!
Seol In ah in a wonderful role. She shines through. From supporting roles in ‘Strong Girl Bong soon’, ‘School 2017’ & ‘Mr. Queen’ , she dazzled in ‘Business Proposal’ . Her second pair with Kim Min kyu was loved more than the leads!
A good drama needs teamwork. It is a perfect blend here.
