It is a 2024 anime fantasy film. Produced by Studio Colorido & Twin Engine. Directed by Tomotaka Shibayama. The film was released in Japanese theaters & on Netflix globally on May 24, 2024.
The film’s first teaser appeared in Aoril 2022 with ‘A Whisker Away’ co-directed by Tomotaka Shibayama. The title was not yet unveiled. It is a part of a three film exclusivity deal between Colorido & Netflix. It started with Hiroyasu Ishida’s ‘Drifting Home’ that released in Sept. 2022.
Yatsuse Hiiragi, a first year high school student , is a type of student who cannot refuse requests. One summer day, it snows out of season, he meets Tsumugi, a demon girl who has come to the human world looking for her mother. Her personality is the exact opposite of Hiiragi.
She takes him to show the way to the Hei shrine. It leads to many an adventure.
Like ‘A Whisker Away’ or “‘Drifting home’ it shows the children who are mature to handle themselves. They know exactly what they want.
