Reunited Worlds

It is a South Korean TV series made in 2017. It stars Yeo Jin goo, Ahn Jae hyun, Lee Yeon hee with others.

All of 40 episodes it got a good viewership. Maintaining at 6 to 8% on an average. This series is the third collaboration between writer Lee Hee myung & PD Baek Soo chan, who worked on ‘A Girl who sees Smells’ 2015 & ‘Beautiful Gong Shim’ 2016.

Namkoong Min , a villian in the first & the main lead in the second. A versatile actor who has no inhibitions.

Reunited Worlds is a time travel fantasy drama. Right from the first episode it grips you. The pace is comfortable , yet fast. Sung Hae sung , a senior high school student is hit by a car. He dies. But twelve years later, he wakes up at the roof of his school building. He meets his friends who have aged but he is still a 19 year old.

With the help of his friends he sets out to make things right for his family. Solving the mysteries surrounding his death & resurrection.

Time travel is often used in dramas today. But the treatment differs every time. ‘Lovely Runner’ has been having a huge following today & fans are keen to see Im Sol & Sun Jae unite again.

Hae sung is an excellent cook. He dreams of opening a large restaurant in the future. His friend, Jung won wants him to do what he desires. In the present time, she is working in a restaurant. Her boss , Ahn Jae hyun likes her. So he does n’t go to Paris. He is the main Chef.

It reminded me of ‘Pasta’ . The strict Chef with his assistant. But here, the clumsy girl is being pursued by the boss. Or so it seems.

‘Hello, My Twenties’ also has the chef (Yoon Park) liking his colleague. He is the chef & she is the waitress. Doing many part-time jobs for money.

‘W: two worlds’ also deals with the real world & an alternate universe inside a webtoon. ‘King ; The eternal monarch’ also deals with Republic of Korea & Corea. The duplication is scary & confusing. Also interesting.
