Looking up a couple of videos/ movies, I came across many Chinese movies. The movie length being 11/2 to 2 hours was a go getter. The story predictable. Twists & turns almost as you would write.
Chanced upon a few ‘Lovely Runner’ clips. Which I could not skip. The lead pair is good & the story is interesting. The show is ongoing. Previews of 11 -12 & still with ‘Does she like me or not ?’
I came upon an interesting clip. ‘Do you when you saw Byeon Woo soek first ?” I couldn’t miss it!
In 2016, he has a cameo in ‘Weightlifting Fairy’. We are hooked on the leads, who will look at their cronies? We do. But cannot remember a senior who appears only once!
Also he is the ex- boyfriend of IU in ‘Moon lovers : Scarlet Heart Ryeo’ . She is dejected, disappointed, depressed & sits in a corner for a while. Then she plunges into the water. It is the start of her adventure.
In 2019, he had a cameo in ‘Welcome to Waikiki 2’ & ‘Search : WWW’. He also appeared in ‘Flower Crew : Joseon Marriage Agency’. Along with Kim Min jae ,he is an important member of the match making agency. His long hair, good looks attract many a girls to reveal their secrets.
Then he appeared in “Record of Youth’ 2020. He was cast as second lead. along with Park Bo gum & Park So dam. He appears on the poster with them. In a few scenes, he also gives us a scare. But Go gum being so seasoned & So dam so fixated, nothing happens.
In 2023, ‘Strong Girl Nam soon’ he was the villain. Ryu Shi -oh. The final episode had 10.42% ratings nationwide. He dies & nobody liked it. The wrong doer, charismatic man stood tall. He won the hearts of all.
In 2022, he appeared in ’20th Century Girl’ with Kim Yoo jung. He dies mid way. The story could’ve been better.
In 2024, ‘Lovely Runner’ as Ryu Sun jae he is a sensation. Rumoured that the director waited three years to cast him & what a wait! He along with Kim Hye yoon have created history. It has a steady number one spot!!
The latest episode will be aired today. Then only four remain. He dies in the first episode by drowning. But she goes to their past to change the events. This time travel allows them to spend more time with each other.
If she doesn’t lose her legs in the accident & he doesn’t die by drowning, yes, we would love that!
