It is a 2013 South Korean TV series. It stars Lee Bo -young, Lee Jong -suk, Yoon Sang hyun & Lee Da hee.
After overcoming a difficult childhood, Jang Hye -sung becomes a public defender. Her life changes when she encounters Park Soo ha, a high school senior with the supernatural ability to read other people’s thoughts by looking into their eyes.
The first episode is action packed. We are filled in with their backgrounds till the present. Once there, you are hooked.
She confronts her arch rival in the very first case. After gathering evidence, she also wins it. The entire office helps her.
Now, the murderer is on her trail & she is unaware. Her good friend, Mr Park is stalled by some naughty schoolmates ! They have chosen the worst time ever.
Getting the suggestion for too long, I had not been able to watch it. What a watch! We all are so accustomed to superpowers, we don’t even blink. ‘She is able to see scents!’ okay. She kisses & knows the future, okay. She touches the behind & can follow the past events, okay. No surprise there.
The viewership was excellent. From 7.7 % to 24. 1 % Nationwide & 9% to 26.7% in Seoul , till the 16th episode. On popular demand, 2 more episodes were added.
Lee Bo young received the Grand prize at the 6th Korea Drama Awards. Best Production director Jo Soo won, Excellence award for actor Jung Woong-in & Lee Jong suk. Best Couple award for the leads , Lee Bo young & Lee Jong suk. At the APAN Star awards & 26th Grimae Awards all of them were awarded.
At SBS awards Lee Bo young won the Grand prize. Lee Jong suk, Jung Woong in with Lee Da hee ( New Star award) won. At the 50th Baeksang Arts Award , in spite of the nominations, only Lee Bo young won the best actress award.
An interesting watch.
