It is a 2022 South Korean TV series based on the web novel of the same title. It was made into a webtoon by Gatnyeo ( Got W). Directed by Nam Ki Hoon, written by Jeon Yuri. It stars Yoon Kye sang, Seo Ji hye & Kim Ji seok.
It tells the story of Hong Ye sool, a woman who has the supernatural ability to see the future when she is kissed. One day, she accidentally kisses her boss, Cha Min hoo & sees their future together. His senses are special that he can hear & sense his surroundings better than the rest. He wears eye patches & ear plugs to drown the noises.
It is all of 12 episodes , it ranked within the top five among ‘Top ten TV shows on Disney+’ in South Korea.
Her life gets more tangled when Ye sool’s ex-boyfriend Lee Pil -yo comes back into her life. The leads have special powers due to the red moon & jumping or drowning in water. They also lose their powers when they drown in water.
This series re-unites Yoon Kye sang & Seo Ji hye after working together as siblings in the 2004 drama ‘My 19 Year old Sister-in Law’
Yoon Kye sang has worked in many movies & dramas. After watching ‘Chocolate 2020, this is the next drama. I found him very serious. He goes about it in all sincerity.
Seo Ji hye exudes confidence & charisma. In ‘Black Knight : The Man who guards me’ she is Sharon, the beauty goddess. But I loved her in ‘Crash Landing on You’. Naturally we had eyes for the leads only. But the second couple of Seo Ji hye & Kim Jung hyun were superb.
Seo Dan is after Captain Ri. They are engaged but he wants out. He has fallen for the South Korean heiress Se ri. The trajectory of the story between the second couple is heartbreaking. I am purposely using the word ‘trajectory’!!
She has made good use of her big eyes & her style is unique. She appears just the opposite of Son Ye jin.
Kim Ji seok is a versatile actor. He has been there for ages. his 2010 ‘Personal Taste’ with Lee Min ho & Son ye Jin, 2015 ‘Another Oh Hae young’, 2019 ‘When the Camellia Blooms’ , 2020 ‘My Unfamiliar Family’ it is his best role. Best example of how a friend should be.
A cameo in ‘Doom at your Service’ in 2021. Taking up small roles & excelling at it, is his specialty. He has maximum screen time in ‘My Unfamiliar Family’ & when he is not around , we wonder where he is.
The drama is fast paced & finishes when it should. Nice & clean.
