Labelled as mystery drama gets interesting from the 13th episode. It catches speed & most of the tangles are unrevealed.But then by 16th we are sure of it’s dismal end. Frankly, I expected more.

The viewership went from 5.8 % to 15.9% for the final episode. If you look closely, it thawed around the 12th episode with 13.2 % which reached almost 16 % by the 16th episode. In Seoul, it was at 17.7 %.

When Jang Na ra gets a message ‘Your Husband’s mistress is on your team’, she strats suspecting one of the three ladies in her team. One after the other is investigated by her & yet she is not sure!

Her searching eyes get too repetitive & she starts getting jittery. In a world of competition, the women are subjected to sexual harassment also. They work twice as much & share the load at home, too.

Four friends in the VIP team & working in the same company. The Sungun Store which caters to the VIPs relays on this staff. They rise to every occasion. When Mr Bae makes inappropriate advances towards Ms Song, she is embarrassed, but her friend Ms Lee stands up for her. She reveals his past behavior & how she was away for an year. An year lost for mustering courage.

Rather than the leads the sub plots are interesting. Ms Lee is attractive. She also knows how to handle herself. Coming back must have been so tough! Mr Cha is interested in her , now. But after hearing of the scandal he doesn’t know how to approach her.

Finally he does & then she takes the lead in their relationship! Moving together was an apt end for them.

Our leads are disappointing. They discover that they have not been confiding in each other. This lack of trust takes a toll. They separate . Two umbrellas moving away from each other.

He is the son of a mistress. He wants to rise high. He marries the best but cannot hold on to it. He gets involved in a girl, who needs his sympathy. She is the illegitimate daughter of the vice -chairman.

Doing favors for his boss, he loses his way. His mother is sad. She says , ‘ You don’t realize what you have lost!’ He does. When he packs up his things & comes across his camera. He removes the roll & takes it for developing. As he watches the photographs, which are Ms Na sleeping or reading. He is unable to control his tears.

I saw his face move only once. He has the same dead pan expression , otherwise. Yes, he did smile for his wife, once or twice.

Ms Song with her two children & a third on the way has a better story. Her husband has done a wonderful job. The two children , seen in various dramas, are excellent actors.

The chairman’s daughter enters the team & later leaves the country after breaking up with Mr Park. A person who misses him in the dead of the night suddenly breaks up with him & agrees to go abroad. Money minded! Maybe.

Her tears are real for her mother later on she is nothing. A nuisance in a relationship. Unless he is divorced she cannot do anything. Her father has warned her to remain far away. Till he has his marriage, hers is only an affair!

Fickle, weak & unsteady, she admits she shouldn’t have started it in the first place! No use crying over spilled milk, as they say.

A lesson in how a relationship should never be.

In 2017, a crime thriller action movie “VIP’ was released. It deals with a serial killer from North Korea is on the loose, law enforcement agents from his country team up with their counterparts from South Korea & Interpol to apprehend him.

Lee Jong suk is suspected of committing crimes around the world. He is to be comprehended by the law enforcers. The film did a good business.
