Line romance or also known as LOVE LINE. It is a 2014 Korean TV mini drama starring Lee Min ho & Bea Hayden.
It is a story of a female Chinese tourist named Ling Ling who goes to Korea & falls in love with Min ho, a music producer with both talent & good looks. Due to their language barrier, the two people use the mobile messenger app LINE to communicate with one another.
Revisiting again, felt like watching it anew. Min ho’s looks do all the work. Ling ling is so simple, cute. Their cute meet is cute & as he gives her keychain back , we know this cannot be the end.
His Browny makes it all happen. ‘She types ‘Thank you’ to which he types ‘I love you’ as Browny makes a sudden movement! Flustered, Min ho doesn’t know what to do! So, cute.
When she rests her head on his shoulder, is the only time they are in one frame. Also they have merged the photos. In the end, they meet a the airport again. Manged by his manger!
Which airport, they should ‘ve informed us. We could have gone to welcome Ling ling to Korea! The final scene is both of them looking happy & watching each other from a distance.
When alone I expected a handshake or a hug! With the language barrier they keep a distance till the end!
