It is a 2020 Chinese drama TV series . Directed by Zhang Xiaobo , It stars Jiang Shuying, Tong Yao & Mao Xiaotong.
The series follows the tree vastly different women who have reached their thirties while facing challenges at a crucial stage in their lives . As they leave behind their youthful, carefree 20s to embrace the ‘adult’ life of a 30 year old & ultimately decide to take matters into their own hands.
Wang Man Ni is rebellious. She is confident at both her workplace & at home. However her life is disrupted by external factors. She faces difficulties with sales & relationships.
Wang Man Ni works as a senior sales person at Mishil in Shanghai. She lands a big order & is awarded with a cruise. She meets Wang Zijian as Zhang Zhi , director who works in Hong Kong.
He pursues her. She accepts him as her boyfriend. But he has no intention of getting married. That puts her off. Later she meets his girlfriend of seven years.
Her world crumbles but she deals with it. Her strength is what makes it a good drama. Watching clips which had her story made me love her. ‘Cat’s Eye’ has chosen well.
I never thought it was just one story along the other two!
It reminded me of Son Ye jin ‘s South Korean Drama, ‘Thirty nine’ where three friends sort out their problems & lives . Running parallel they are truly slice -of life.
A good drama.
