It is about the unusual job of a ‘single life helper’ who becomes the spouse of single people needing partner to attend events such as couples’ gatherings & reunions.
The viewership averaged at 3.171 % nationwide & 3.347% in Seoul. Not bad.
Park Min young is an exceptional actress. From her 2010 ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ to her latest 2024 ‘Marry My Husband’ she has never looked back. Experimenting on her way she has chosen her roles with younger actors with finesse.
She looks beautiful as a bride. But 13 years in the same line of work! That is a bit far fetched. The girls decorating the bride recognize her from the earlier wedding & she admits she has divorced .Then requests them to not reveal her secret.
Thinking of retiring just like in ‘What’s wrong with secretary Kim ?’ & then falling for one of her clients. Having Mon, Wed, Fri for one & Tue, Thur & Sat for another is so cliche!
Go Kyung pyo rose to prominence from his ‘Reply 1988’ made in 2015-16. Till his ‘No Secrets’ in 2023 he is on the rise. From ‘Warm & Cozy’ where he appears in a cameo he has come a long way.
Kim Jae young. He started in 2011 , but looks as fresh today. ‘Yong Pal’, ‘100 Days My Prince’, ‘Black”Reflections of You’ till his latest ‘2024 ‘The Judge from Hell’. In 2019, he won an award for his ‘ Beautiful Love, Beautiful Life’.
The drama concept is good. The pace bit slow. The first episode covers too many intros. The viewership dipped at the second episode. The interest generated by the new drama could not cater to the expectations.
It recovered a bit. But the damage was done. With stiff competition , it failed to regain it’s position.
All good looking actors have chipped in & made a good drama.
