Miyo Saski is an unhappy *th grader living in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture. She does not get along with her step mother, Kaoru. She always flirts with her crush, the handsome Kento Hinode, even though he has no romantic feelings for her.
She gets a cat mask from a Mask seller & becomes a cat. As ‘Taro’ she spends time with Hinode, keeps him company while he studies Japanese pottery & listens to his problems. She longs to confess that the cat he loves & the girl he dislikes are the same person.
Rotten Tomatoes has rated it at 7.7 / 10. Lawrence Bennie has awarded it four of the five stars. ‘Sweet, cute & charming’ & a great piece of anime escapism’.
