It is a Japanese manga series. Written & illustrated by Hatsuharu. An anime TV series adapted by Projest No. 9 aired from Sept to Dec, 2023.
Isaku Senagaki is the grand daughter of Tasuke, a Senagaki yakuza boss. Fearful of her connection she has no friends. She decides to enroll in a far off school, where she plans to have a fresh start.
She wants to have a normal love life. So she gives up on her unrequited crush on Keiya Uto, who has been her father, mother, brother, just everything. But Keiya fakes his age & enrolls in the same school.
We have seen better animation. This genre delves into a mature theme . But the 13th episode just runs through all the episodes to give us a hasty end.
After all Miyazaki films I have watched , also ‘My Happy Marriage’ which brought out the characters to life, it couldn’t have been this disappointing. It needed a better twist & handling.
Give it a miss. We always have better options.
