The 15 th & the 16th episode move with the same pace. No jerks. The story repeats a little. With Do Do hee getting to know her past & her feelings for her Demon.
Slaying of the villain is as expected. He lands up in jail, for life. His wife now a better person. She plans to work for the society. Having lost her son, then her husband she is looking forward to it.
The sister with her twins is in the management. She plans to groom them. As Madam Ju died, the others changed from being vicious to ambitious.
Kim Tae hoon can be a good or a bad person at will. A softie, he is a surprise for wanting to eliminate Do hee.
Lee Sang -yi as Joo Seok hoon has real feelings for Do hee. But when she marries Gu won, his feelings change to jealousy. But gradually he comes to know Gu won & decides to support her.
Kim Hae sook as Joo Cheon sook has everyone looking up to her. When alive, she has a stronghold on her company. But as per her will, if Do hee gets the seat of the chairperson, many people would dislike it.
Finally, Do hee steps aside & takes a back seat. With Gu won disappearing, she is devastated. Making a deal, she gets him back!
The leads are wonderful. Not only the story, just watching them is paisa vasool!
The end looks like ‘Extraordinary You’ or ‘King : the Eternal monarch’. They get their happy ending. Also we are happy.
A genre ‘fantasy’ is so easy with technology. A film like this a few years ago would have been talked about for days. But now, we have so many tricks on screen that having a Demon as a husband is nothing very surprising.
Also others around her accept it so well. Nobody freaks out or is on edge. As if we have such people around us since ages!
If Gong Yoo set the trend as ‘Goblin’ & Lee dong wook as the ‘grim reaper’, I actually started thinking of ‘Grim reapers’ being good people! The idea got reinforced with Rowoon in ‘Tomorrow’!
With ‘Welcome to Samdal-ri’ also coming to an end, I have found something new to watch. Till next time then.
