Diary of a Prosecutor

It is a 2019 South Korean TV series. It stars Lee Sun kyun, Jung Ryeo won, Lee Sung jae with others. It is based on an essay by prosecutor Kim Woong. The stories of overworked prosecutor’s daily lives in the fictional city of Jinyoung, South Korea.

Screenwriter Park Yeon seon & director Lee Tae gon worked together on the TV series, ‘Hello, My Twenties! (2016) & it’s sequel ‘Hello, My Twenties !2’ (2017 )

The viewership dropped from 5.042 % to 2.73% again recovering at 4. 208% by the end of the 16th episode.

Immediately after the first episode, it is tough to form an opinion but as we move on the characters will be more familiar.

Instead of ‘My Mister’ which I know is serious, I started this in spite of the ‘not so interesting’ title. I thought this will have interesting cases. But this takes time as ‘Divorce Attorney Shin’ to thaw.

From ‘Coffee Prince’, ‘Pasta’, ‘Diary of a Prosecutor’ Lee Sun kyun never looks poor. He is rich in ‘Parasite’ also. He was the conflicted soul in ‘My Mister’ he never won awards for this portrayal. Yet, it remains IU’s & his memorable roles.

Hope he is fine wherever he is.
