It is a 2023 Indian Tamil language culinary drama film. Directed by Nilesh Krishnaa in his directorial debut. The film stars Nayanthara with Jai, Satharaj. It follows Annapoorani , who dreams of being a chef. The obstacles she faces along the way.
The film was announced in July, 2022 with the tentative title Nayanthara 75, as it is Nayanthara’s 75th film in the lead role.
Principal photography started in Chennai. Filming began with the blessings from the veteran actor Rajnikanth. Second schedule began in Trichirapalli. Filming wrapped by 16 September.
Released in theaters on 1 Dec. 2023, it received mixed to positive reviews from critics. It garnered 3.5 out of 5 stars. Though the film has some negative points, it can be watched for the performances of the lead stars & some message to the society. Annapoorani – watchworthy.
