It is a 2023 Indian Hindi language comedy drama film. Directed by Sonal Joshi in her first directorial debut. It stars Shilpa Shetty in the lead role. Amit Sadh, Dilnaz Irani, Kusha Kapila, Pavleen Gujral with others.
It is the story of a 38 year old Punjabi housewife Sukhpreet ‘Sukhee’ Kalra. She is sick of her routine existence. She travels to Delhi to attend her high school reunion. She relives her teenage years with her friends. She makes the shift of her life from being a wife & mother to being a woman she once was.
A bit preachy but effective. It has everything packed in those two hours. Critics have blamed it’s pace but for a debutante it’s okay. We wish her to develop & give a better film.
The film was released on 22 Sept, 2023. The film received mixed reviews from critics in India & abroad.
A womancentric film, that needs our support.
