The final episode ends with an open end. Calls for the season next. I want to know what happens next! With ‘the Cole effect’ I never expected to see him in a positive light, but the writer manages it in the end.
We are already aware of his feelings for Jackie. But his reputation ruins it all. Now, again he is up against Alex, his own brother. Actually, Alex’s love life is more messed up. But being the good boy that he is maybe he gets away with it.
When he is dating Paige, why would she fall for Cole ? And make the first move. He was away & did not know about Alex- Paige but I wonder if such things go unnoticed! Being a brother he should ‘ve picked up some signs. Feigning ignorance, I don’t get it.
Erin is his on off romance. Okay. If she is ok, why are we bothered ? ‘He never dates’ doesn’t ring true. Having girls over & his parents not knowing ! This is ridiculous. However big a house is, parents are parents! Such things cannot go unnoticed.
Having so many flaws it remains a good story. It feels like real people we are dealing with. Watching. Every character is written so well. Boys dealing with a new girl in the household. More like ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’ but with more complications.
Also a touch of ‘Seven brides for seven brothers’ but only one gets hitched. The others are still in school. Yes, but it does hold you till the end.
