The viewership for the 11th episode is lower than 10th. But it rises to 9. 002% Nationwide & 9. 840 % in Seoul. The story being good, it dragged a bit in some episodes.
In the other Park Eun bin show ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’ in 2022 , we wished it had more of the lead pair. More episodes or a new season.
‘Castaway Diva’ is a feel good show. A story of an ambitious girl whose 15 years are wasted getting trapped on a deserted island. Her enthusiasm remains the same. Her kind, helping nature shines through.
She is fixed on her devotion to Ran joo. Hogging her limelight is not her dream. Meeting her idol & being with her is all she had wished.
In an age of opportunists, her behavior is extraordinary. Nothing bad can happen to such an individual. Both the brothers fall for her. Also, they have used up all their resources to help her.
Then, it’s her turn to root for them. They come out of their fight with their father easily. How beautifully that scene has been handled! The real father verses the adoptive father, the contrast was striking!
I have yet to watch the finale. But the person who hurts the adoptive father is their father, no doubt. He was shown taking the knife from the kitchen. Also old habits die hard. He cannot accept failure.
Developing every character with their nuances was nicely done.
