At the episode 14, the viewership is still in double figures but has steadily fallen back. If we compare it with ‘Business Proposal’ then it hasn’t done well. Although the premise is the same.
Also the ideas have been brought from here & there. So the originality has taken a hit! The scene where he rents the entire amusement park at night is akin to ‘What’s wrong with secretary Kim?’ Also the wonder is Park Min young’s eyes & arrogance in Park Seo jun’s face is unique!
The factor common to all Korean dramas is the triangle. It is dealt with very soon. But the breakup part is there, quite unnecessary.
Jun ho pinning for his mother & in denial for years. ‘Why did she abandon me?’ is same as ‘Her private life’ another Park Min young drama. Kim Jae wook shows it better. His drawing skills take a hit. He cannot draw!
At least Lee Jun ho had his father. Kim Jae wook has foster parents in the US. In ‘Vincenzo’ Song Joong ki also meets his mother at the end. He has been adopted & travelled to Italy. The traumas of their childhood dictate the actions of today.
‘Business Proposal’ had a close plot & wellknit. In ‘King the Land’ many scenes are unnecessary. Finding themselves in a village once was enough. Again?? Also the forest trip , finding wild ginseng, lost & then found by the helicopter! And the rope did not find them & retrieve them immediately! They had to stay at her Granny’s.
Visit to the market could be called cute but it could’ve happened later or not atall. Her two friends have been neglected. They had good potential.
‘Business Proposal’ has her friend & his secretary. Their story was more anticipated at times! They were more interesting than the leads!!!!!
Both the dramas in the same genre have different results in the end.
