Baipan Bhaari Deva (trans. Womanhood is Awesome God) It is a 2023 Indian Marathi language drama film . Directed by Kedar Shinde & produced by Jio studios, EmVee Bee Media. It stars Rohini Hattangadi, Vandana Gupte, Sukanya Kulkarni, Shilpa Navalkar, Suchitra Bandekar, Deepa Parab.
Released on 30th June, made on a budget of est. % crores it has made est. 37. 35 crores till date. A huge hit.
The film was titled ‘Mangalagaur’ till the shooting of the film title song ‘Baipan Bhaari Deva’ Co-producer Ajit Bhure suggested Kedar Shinde to change the name. Slated for ^ january it was pushed to 30th June.
It is the ninth highest grosser marathi film of all times & the highest grosser of 2023. A record in itself.
The story of six sisters who have separated from each other due to some reason & also face family,personal & financial problems. The Kakde sisters make it a wonderful watch.
Without the usual song & dance, the vicious in-laws or the villian it makes it an interesting story. We wait for the next incident to happen.
Without being melodramatic it handles all the drama in a light vein. Not a real comedy but a slice of life that everybody can relate to. Loved it.
The seasoned veteran actresses make it a beautiful experience. The finale with the “Mangalagaur’ song makes it a real finale. The sisters have a heartwarming gettogether.
Liked by women all over, it can interest a man equally. Trying to put in a woman’s story it can & does affect every man!
