It is a n American romantic comedy drama created by Jenny Han. It premiered on May 18, 2023. A spin-off of the ‘To All The Boys’ film series ( itself an adaptation of Han’s book trilogy ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ ) marks the first Netflix series a spin off of a Netflix Original.
It features Kitty Covey going on her own journey to find true love. Anna Cathcart is reprising the title role.
Kitty has a long distance relationship with her boyfriend, Dae. Now, she gets enrolled in the KISS academy in Seoul. She thinks herself to be an expert on love matters. A self proclaimed matchmaker but she finds that a relationship is much more complex when it is your own feelings of love at risk.
Gia Kim as Yuri has a complex role. She is the principal’s daughter & wants to be with Juliana. Sang Heon Lee as Min ho is a handsome boy. He has casual affairs but not serious about love. In real life both are siblings.
I wondered why the lead Dae looked familiar. I have seen him number of times! Only 20 he has assayed the roles for the leads as a young boy. The latest being ‘Twenty five, Twenty one’ as Nam Joo hyuk’s younger brother!
All the three cameos, Han Chae young as Min ho’s mother looks more like his sister! Ok Taec yeon as Ocean Park looks younger here, somehow. Chaerin from Cherry Bullet as Lulu is just that Min ho’s friend who comes to meet him but misses.
Light, fluffy, I loved it. Made for my weekend binge!
