It is a 2019 Filipino romantic drama film. It stars Kathryn Bernardo & Alden Richards. Directed by Cathy Garcia Molina. It follows a struggling Filipino worker & a Bartender as they attempt to reconcile their personal careers & love for each other in Hong Kong.
It is the highest grossing Filipino film of all time, presently. It won several accolades.
The lead actors belong to two different ‘love teams’. Bernardo with Daniel Padilla in Kathniel & Richards with Maine Mendoza in AlDub.
The film was declared the highest grosser replacing the film ‘The Hows of Us’ that was also directed by Molina & starred by Bernardo.
Richards & director Molina expressed openness on working on a sequel for the film. Bernardo also expressed similar sentiments on doing a sequel for the film.
She is a nurse but working as a domestic help & he is just short of finishing his doctor’s training but loves being a bartender. She leaves for CAnada & he is opening his own bar in Hong Kong when the film ends. We will certainly love to see if they realise their dream & get back together!
