It is a South Korean streaming TV series written & directed by Cho Ui seok. Starring Kim Woo bin, Song Seung heon, Kang Yoo seok, Esom. Based on a webtoon of the same name by Lee Yun kyun. It was released on Netflix on May 12, 2023.
With only 6 episodes it depicts a dystopian future where extensive air pollution has destroyed most of the world. People are forced to depend on elite delivery drivers for survival.
In the first episode the action is gripping. So is the drama. Esom is a military officer, strong & righteous. Roh Yoon seo as her younger sister is a delight. Her word war with Kang Yoo seok is entertaining.
She dies in the first episode. I wanted more of their exchange. But then the story has to end in five more episodes.
She was in ‘Our Blues’ with Kim Woo bin & others. ‘Crash course in Romance ‘ brought her an award!! Well deserved. She is one of the finest new generation actors.
Kim Woo bin at his best. His glances were mild in ‘Our Blues’ but the edge is back in ‘Black Knight’. Hoping to see more of his shows!!
