Ely cannot get over his past love. In Barcelona, he juggles work with his studies. He is studying for his masters degree. He meets Mia, a girl who sees Spain as a fresh start. She is the splitting image of his first love , Celine.
After a few chance meetings he helps her find a place to stay. She becomes his housemate. Both are in search of the right direction. Their journey of exploration becomes our journey.
More than two hours it is slow sometimes but the emotions are all real. What amazed me is the lead pair. I have seen them in films one after the other & yet they can appear fresh. On screen & a couple off screen they have good chemistry but that doesn’t take away the magic.
When he meets her for the first time it looks first time! He follows her in the tube, on the side walk to confirm the uncanny resemblance, it is raw. His glances hesitant. No wonder then that the pair is lauded for their acting!
Kudos to the team. A good film.
