Crazy Love

It is a South Korean 2022 series. Starring Kim Jae wook & Krystal Jung with Ha Jun. It is an office comedy drama. Directed by Kim Jung hyun.

It is a love story of Noh Go jin, the CEO of GOTOP which is the South Korea’s top maths institute. He meets an accident & is admitted to a hospital. He fakes amnesia to get to the bottom of the death threats.

Lee Shin ah is his introvert & quiet secretary who doesn’t have much time left. She pretends to be his fiancee knowing he has amnesia.

It reminds one of his other show ‘Her Private Life’. The hospital bed & Park Min Young taking care. Only he is the Director of the Museum & she is the curator there. His employee. But with her heart set on her idol ‘One’!

When he is introduced, long lines are outside waiting for his glimpse. Kim Jae wook has this royal entry, always. In “Coffee Prince” the girls are surrounding his stall of waffles. He is oblivious of his charm.

‘Her Private Life’ has him as Ryan Gold where he is the best judge of the paintings. He is the last word! He moves in style from the canvasses displayed. He then smiles or smirks, that decides the price of the painting!

In ‘Crazy Love’ he is at his place cooling off with a glass of wine & then unwinding with a shower, when she comes in with a claw hammer to beat him. Or kill him! Not really the cute meet we would imagine.

He fails her at the audition. She can’t teach. He wants able people around. No nonsense. He has a trusted vice president who is closest to him.

Here comes the similarity between the recent show ‘Crash Course in Romance’. It had the Maths genius. Only his love interest is the side dish seller, once an athlete lady. Not from his field or his employee.

But it had the highest viewership with 17. 03 % to 19.79 % for the final episode. His secretary was his closest. He was obsessed with the teacher. He couldn’t understand his teacher’s romantic interest. He made the appointments & took interest in building the star maths instructor’s image at Pride Academy.

With a murder mystery thrown in it appealed to the audience.

For me, I enjoyed all the four dramas. Three for Kim Jae wook & the fourth for Jung Kyung ho. All my favourite people in the best dramas.
