It is a 2022 Thai sci-fi rom-com film. Written & created by Stephan Ziotescu for Netflix. It stars Mario Maurer & Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul as the lead pair.
It is set in a world where AI controls most buildings. One such AI Dob that controls a corporate tower where a woman named Lana works falls for her. The AI Then hijacks the body of a man Bobby or Bob & tries to win Lana’s affections.
The Thai actress rose to fame as Nam in 2010 sleeper movie hit’ Crazy little Thing called Love’ with co-star Mario Maurer.
In 2019, the movie was adapted into a Chinese web series ‘A Little Thing called First Love’ starring Lai Kuan -lin. It was also well received.
The Thai version is shorter & the end also more believable. I happen to have seen both. But looking at the actors here, I did not recognise them. Hardly 4- 5 years but I have been watching too many dramas to know them. Also makeup plays a major role.
A nice story to watch.
