In 2003 came a beautiful film ‘Finding Nemo’ . A film which made us travel the oceans with Marlin to find the small, inquisitive fish, Nemo. Going through the journey finds us joy & adventure.
A parent caring for his child & rushing through all the dangers. Very common among the humans. Running through the hoops & trying for the best.
It was followed by ‘Finding Dory’ in2016.Here Dory, with her friends Martin & his son, Nemo starts on a journey to find her parents. Ellen DeGeneres gave her voice to Dory in both the films.
‘Finding Agnes’ came in 2020. Agnes is in the film from the first frame. But the real Agnes is revealed to her son at the end of his journey. For 25 years he has not got his answer, why did his mother leave him?
But before that came ‘Finding Fanny’ in 2014. an Indian Hindi language film. It is based an a road trip set in Goa. Five friends travel in search of Naseeruddin ‘s love interest, Fanny. It was screened at 19th Busan International Film Festival in Oct, 2014. A solid star cast made it a hit film. Worth watching.
‘Finding You’ in 2021 is the latest . Violinist Finley meets a handsome actor, Beckett Rush. The Irish coastal village & the bed & breakfast are the unlikely places to make the sparks fly. But Finley finds her heart, her Music & her outlook to life change. She finds herself.
All the lost & found make a beautiful journey. It may be on road or inwards. Maybe overt or not so obvious. But travel we do. And how!
