With the two latest episodes, we delve deeper into the pain Shin endures. His loss is irreparable. When he loses his sister the concert or the graduation nothing means anything. He comes back to Korea to an empty house & extreme pain, loss & a tiny nephew, as sweet, small as he can imagine.
The viewership is better but nothing extraordinary. The show is slow on the uptake but surely there. With every next case he is improving his skills & getting better.
Getting a suit to meet Attorney Park was just great. One needs his weapon to have a fair fight! The boss is flustered to note that Shin has made the connection! His sister in a ‘hit & run’ the rain, convenience store, the falling umbrella, lost shoe & the last call from ‘1225’! We are eager to know more.
Divorce case 4 with Mr Ma as the abusive father & his wife, the Vietnamese girl younger than him, with a child. Attorney Shin asks for paternity case. He is right!
The next case of the schizophrenic girl & husband is developing slowly. It again has many layers. Games people play, indeed! When the wife is hospitalised, the husband following a variety show on his phone & enjoying it in the lobby of the hospital !
Grandmother Ma is one loveable granny. This is her best role ever. Cha Hwa yeon is the best . I must have seen her in a rich woman’s role a number of times but never so lovely! Her style, while helping Shin, but not making him awkward. A woman who declared ‘kindness is weakness’, she has come a long way!
