It is a Japanese TV series of 2022. Not to confused with a film of the same name. But it is about teen love. The series & it’s Japanese title was inspired by two Hikaru Utada songs. It stars Hikari Mitsushima, Takeru Satoh. It released on Netflix on 24 Nov. 2022.
With only 9 episodes it revolves around a man & woman who met in the late 1990s as teenagers. Grew up together in the 2000s. After 15 years, they meet again. Yae wanted to be a flight attendant but suffered an accident. Harumichi served as a pilot in the JASDF but his life took a different path.

I believe it is a gap in our cultures. The carefree teenager denied visitation after the accident, a gap of fifteen years all culminate in his hesitation. She has lost some of her memories. He cannot rush in & say ‘Here, I am!’.
The slow approach is the best. Waiting in the wings. Remember he is to be married soon. Finding his ‘first love; at a delicate juncture after so many years… After so many Korean shows, I find it nothing unusual. The western flicks are fast but some romances are slow burn. It may or maynot have a happy ending, as we wish!
