A 2023 Indian Hindi heist film. Directed by Ajay Singh & produced by Amar Kaushik. It shows Yami Gautam Dhar & Sunny Kaushal in the lead. It released on 24 March, 2023 directly for streaming on Netflix.
A flight attendant & her boyfriend hatch a plan to steal a stash of diamonds in order to pay off an outstanding debt. Soaring 40,000 feet in the air, their scheme takes a disastrous turn, resulting in a hostage crisis.
The story moves well. The twists are good. Yami Gautam stands tall. She has perfected her act. She is well supported by Sunny Kaushal. Sharad Kelkar has a miniscule role but being a seasoned actor he does well. He is not the villain & that is the biggest relief, I believe. One of the most underrated actors.
Finally, the heist & chor getting away with it. We have seen many a Hollywood movies like this. The Indian angle does make the difference. The leads have no family to fall back. On their own they take risky decisions.
Full time pass for the weekend.
