Mystic Pop-up Bar

Coming to the final episodes, it is with regret. I love to see the pair on screen. They don’t say much to each other but their presence is felt in every frame.

As she realises he is the crown prince, she loved dearly in her past life 500 years ago, she feels sad. We already know as the audience is always a few steps ahead! Who will tolerate the temper of the boss? He does, quietly.

I wonder where she got the temper! She was so nice, quiet & obedient, earlier! To fit in this world, maybe. An owner of a bar needs to be aggressive. Or the customers would be the king!! Which they generally are.

The Jade ring tied as a necklace. Now, this I had seen in ‘Guardian…’ but the Grim reaper & Sunny have such a beautiful relationship! Unparalleled.

The hair pin. I was wondering why the ‘ice witch’ had one. In one of the episodes, an author starts having feelings for a delivery boy. He gifts her a pearl hairpin. Many a historical shows have either a ribbon or a hairpin.

Not a mere Bobby pin but gifting the binyeo is significant. It is a symbol of a girl reaching adulthood. In ancient Korean practice, the groom gave it to his bride as a symbol of love when they married. ‘The Moon embracing the sun’ has much of the story around the binyeo. The ones used in the show are one of the most beautiful ones.

‘Mystic pop up Bar’ has her mother. a shaman gifting her a binyeo when she dies. It is magical & leads her to Kang bae. His magical hands lead the story. Literally.
