It is a 2020 South Korean TV series starring Hwang Jung eum, Yook Sung jae, Choi Won young. Based on the Daum webtoon ‘Twin Tops Bar’ by Bae Hye soo. It is the first series to air on JTBC’s wed-thur slot in eight years.
Also looking at Hwang Jung eum after ‘She was Pretty’ was so nice. ‘Kill me, Heal me’ again with Ji Sung & then ‘Lucky Romance’ 2016 with Ryu Jun yeol. Her face is leaner & she has her acting chops in place.
Park Si eun as young Weol-ju is again as relatable.From 2017 show ‘Queen for seven days’, & ‘Rain or Shine’, 2018 ‘Still 17, she has assayed many roles as the lead in younger self.
Yook Sung jae from ‘The Heirs’, ‘Reply 1994, in 2013, ‘Who are you: School 2015’, ‘Guardian: the lonely & great God’ in 2016. Taking a lead role in 2020 with this show.
Choi Won young another actor who fits any role that is given to him.’You are my Destiny’ 2008,’The Heirs’ in 2013, ‘Kill me, Heal me’ in 2015, ‘Doctor Prisoner’ 2019, ‘Youth of May’ 2021 a cameo in the 12th episode. The list doesn’t show his talent. He is superb.
A good story with excellent actors. I had been meaning to watch for long but something else kept coming up. But am I glad I chose it yesterday!
I liked the concept & am looking forward to the next episode!
