Mood of the Day

Watching the clip of the couple travelling to Busan again gave me happiness. I love the couple. Moon Chae won & Yoo Yeon seok! His creepy pick up line when they meet is too cringy. But he is Yoo Yeon seok! He can say anything & get away with it.

As they reach Busan & part, so do we. Our emotions all in upheaval till they meet again. A coincidence or fate? Let’s not go there. They meet & spend a day together. It is meaningful.

The other ‘Train to Busan’ was full of zombies. Gong Yoo carries it all by himself. When it ends with his turning into a zombie, it breaks a million hearts. The thriller turns into a tear jerker.

Made in 2016, not receiving really good reviews, it remains one of my favourites of all time. I can watch any clip over & over again. After that one cheesy line it moves to better things that people conveniently forget.

I am revisiting the train attendant, her expression, Bae Soo eating the food offered. When he introduces her as his wife at the funeral, he is expressionless. It is to avoid further questions.

He takes care of her swollen foot. As easily as he swings his arm to toss the coins in the pond! His manner & his banter though light initially gets serious. He is intrigued. He never had a serious relationship & she has a boyfriend for ten years! ( Do I see the situation similar to ‘One Spring Night ‘?? )

We need a part two for sure.

I have watched the pair again in different shows but this remains on top of my list. Their emotions, the storyline, beautiful people to boot . What more can one ask for!

Re-living the experience! Kudos.
