A 2022 Indian Tamil Thriller film. Raangi (A headstrong woman) directed by M. Saravanan is a different film. It stars Trisha, Bekzod Abdumalikov, Anaswara Rajan in the lead role. It released to negative reviews & became a commercial flop.

Being a woman centric theme it has many flaws. Her encounter with the police officer who passes crude remarks. A girl would let it slide. But being fire brand as she is, she posts it online.

Being a film we know he is going to use it to torture her later. She is a lone journalist. Who will back her ? Her niece has been in a facebook scandal, that she doesn’t know of. One of the girls in her group used her photos to create a fake ID. Confronting all of the followers in a hotel room is a brave step.

But generally going overboard knowing that if a situation arises nobody will help was foolhardy. Instead of brave it was foolish. Then shouldn’t we assert ourselves? We should. When the situation demands. Not everywhere.

Our judgement should never be muddled by emotions. We always sense what is right & what isn’t! I believe , believing in oneself is more important.
