It is an ongoing South Korean TV series. It stars Cho Seung woo, Han Hye jin, Kim Sung kyun with others. It is based on a webtoon of the same name by Kang Tae kyung.
It depicts the turbulent story of Shin sung-han who is a lawyer specialising in divorce. Professor at a music college in Germany, a pianist, he becomes a lawyer specializing in divorce litigation.
It started off well with above 7 % ratings after only two episodes being streamed. The intro is brief & we suddenly plunge into a divorce litigation. Lee Seo jin , a radio DJ, wants to divorce her husband & get custody of her son.
Cho Seung woo in ‘Stranger’ 2017 & again ‘Stranger’ 2020 was serious. Here, he is serious about his work but casual in appearance. His devotion shines through.
After ‘Crash course in Romance’ I was waiting for a good drama. The wait was in the mind. Immediately into the first episode of ‘Divorce Attorney Shin’ got me hooked. The second would be the end of the case & into the next story. Fine.
A good drama for the weekend.
