Breezed through the first six episodes, it is so gripping. The acting perfect, story engaging & after some time one gets lost. Now, more than Mr Queen I have started wondering what did we miss in ‘The Exorcist’ by the same writer? When it got shelved due to the uproar??
Mr Queen also has a few moments when everyone may not like the language or what is intended, but as it passes, we realise it was just a part of the story, let it pass. It was not meant to sensationalise or meant to shock, for sure.
For a fresh look or a new theme our minds need to be open. A chef being a male is coveted but a lady in the kitchen, a no no! The Royal cook doesn’t like a small girl entering in. She was just curious!
When the Queen suggests, the little girl would peel potatoes, to help , he forbids any lady touching a Royal meal preparation, so there! Not that she would have made the kid help!!
Actually catching them young is the key! They need to realise the worth of hard work. And that no work is beneath or above them. Work is work. Period.
The palace politics is similar to many shows seen earlier but the blend of comedy, politics & the feelings is just right. Certainly one of the best shows I have seen. I must have seen at least a hundred!!
After 20 episodes I hope we get a solid end. The viewers deserve it. Kudos to the entire team. Give us more.
