MR QUEEN

Based on ‘Go Princess Go’ by Xian Chen it traces the journey of a Joseon Queen. The modern day Chef trapped in her body has a hard journey. Being the best in his field & a playboy he is trapped in a world of restrictions.

Water .. being a medium of transportation. In ‘Moon Lovers..’ Hae soo tries to commit suicide by diving in water. She comes out in the Goryeo period. Meeting the princes taking a dip.

In ‘Splash, splash love’ a modern day girl falls in a puddle & is sucked into the joseon period where a ‘rain ceremony’ is being performed. She comes out of the cauldron.

‘Live up to your Name’ has a modern lady doctor encountering a traditional acupuncturist in Seoul. He comes from an era 400 years back.

‘Roof top Prince’ had the prince along with his three men suddenly appear in modern era. The crown prince is in search of the murderer of his princess. The resident of the rooftop apartment is a girl with an uncanny resemblance to the deceased princess. But again ‘Mr Queen’ is at a different level.

Swapping souls is also a theme in ‘Alchemy of Souls’ but the gender change is what makes ‘Mr Queen ‘ entertaining. “Secret Garden’ has it for some time which really brings out the best in the leads who are fabulous!

Shin Hye sun dazzles. Going through her latest drama is a delight. As always.
