Having got hold of it suddenly was a big surprise. With a fabulous star cast, wonderful audience viewing & rating, I was just waiting for it.Shin Hye sun never disappoints. Kim Jung hyun after his controversy still happens to hold himself so well.
The opening sequence shows Choi Jin hyuk as the Blue house chef. He is arrogant & a playboy. After his portrayal as a soft father to Lee Seung gi in ‘Gu Family Book’ it is a refreshing role for us.
One of my personal favourites, he is brother to Lee Min ho in ‘The Heirs’, Daniel Pitt in ‘You are my Destiny’, ‘The Last Empress’ as Na Wang sik, a meatier role there. In 2019, ‘Flower Crew Joseon Marriage agency’ had him looking good as a Military officer, in a cameo.
Looking for the main pair he came across, a total surprise. When he has a small role I often wonder why? Of course it is a role, long or short but hee has the ability to have a longer role & do justice.
This feeling I have not been able to shake off in most of his appearances. ‘The Last Empress’ has him in full bloom but he dies suddenly, un necessarily. The end with the lead, Shin Sung rok, another of my favourite, was something. But we couldn’t believe why Choi had to die.
But yes, looking forward to one of controversial yet loveable dramas of all time.
