Finally it is over. Slow & unpredictable. With such good actors the story should have ended happily. I kept thinking of Dr Andrea from ‘Hospital Playlist’. He was slow on the uptake but his proposal was swoony!
Again ‘Mood of Day’ had him all aggressive. Also Moon Ga young looks one to go along, fine. The end was a let down.
How I wish for a change! I remember ‘Kora Kagaz’ a Hindi film with the leads meeting on a railway platform. He is all lost & in a upheaval. Button on his shirt also lost. She feels sorry for him. With feelings for each other, they manage to talk it out. One of the most tearjerker of all times.
The Bengali version had them walk away. The worker in a tea stall putting two cups on far end. Symbolic. But Hindi film cannot have such subtle ends. We need everything there in front of us. No hidden meanings or analysis.
Here ‘Understanding of Love’ should have made them understand love! They knew & made themselves miserable & us! Many moments were remised, re visited but now they had a chance. After four years, people come out smarter. Not hung up.
I wonder why she went on a relationship that meant nothing to her. Also when Mr Ha was only pained never believed her to be with Mr So, what was the whole point? After knowing about her parents she should have been forthright with Mr Ha.
Ghosting him & expecting him to search for her is too much! How long can one be tagged along! He followed her tirelessly. He is more sure about his feelings. She was always confused. It made her act weirdly.
The story deserved a happy ending. They are going for the pork cutlets. A promise made long ago. Let’s hope it is a new beginning.
